The Rockboat RIB380 Aluminium Hull is a rugged, spacious and highly capable boat built for New Zealand fishing, diving and coastal adventures — and with 3.8 metres of length to work with, it carries more crew and gear than its smaller sibling while keeping the same tough, practical build.

Combining a lightweight marine-grade aluminium hull with heavy duty 0.9mm PVC tubes, the Rockboat RIB380 delivers the strength and responsive handling of a rigid hull together with the exceptional stability and buoyancy of an inflatable boat.

What sets the Rockboat RIB380 apart is its practical double deck aluminium construction, generous onboard storage and purpose built features. A separate anchor hatch, welded anchor securing eye, large storage compartment, heavy duty lifting points and non-slip EVA flooring make it a genuinely well-equipped boat from the moment it reaches the water.

With a maximum capacity of 6 people, a maximum load of 800 kg and an outboard rating of up to 30hp, the Rockboat 380 is a capable all-rounder for serious fishing, diving, coastal cruising and bigger family days on the water.

Unlike many basic RIBs, the Rockboat RIB380 includes a separate anchor storage hatch with a welded securing eye, plus a generous compartment for safety gear, equipment and personal belongings.

Large diameter tubes provide excellent stability both underway and at rest — a wide, secure platform for fishing, kitting up for a dive, boarding from the water and carrying passengers in comfort.

Easy to Transport and Handle

The lightweight aluminium construction makes the RIB380 easier to tow, launch and retrieve than many heavier rigid boats, while multiple heavy duty lifting points give you flexibility when lifting, securing or storing.
