  • Clean thoroughly using the cleaner/ primer 
  • Apply glue in thin coats and allow to go tacky before bonding

Quick guide

  • Choose the correct glue for your boat fabric — PVC or Hypalon / neoprene.
  • Before gluing, the area must be cleaned with the correct cleaner for your boat material. Using the wrong cleaner or skipping this step can cause the repair to fail.
  • 1-part glues are best for small, above-waterline repairs and convenience.
  • 2-part adhesives are stronger and better for permanent repairs, below waterline, seams and fittings.
  • Cleaner / primer kits are ideal when correct surface prep matters.
  • Complete repair kits include: glue, curative, primer/cleaner, 2 × A6 patches, brush, stirrer and gloves.
