The retainer string for the valve cap is tied off with a Knott through a small hole in the valve body. This is the point of a small leak that I partially remedied with silicone sealant. The dinghy has slowly lost inflation over 2 weeks to the point of pontoons becoming soft and wrinkled. Not a fatal flaw but a nuisance
