Complete kit with cleaner/primer included — don't risk a failed bond from skipping surface prep.

Rockboat heavy duty snap davits are used for attaching your inflatable boat to the swim platform, making it easier and safer to both mount the outboard motor and board the inflatable. The grey rubber pads glue onto the inflatable and the brackets bolt onto the platform. When ready to get underway, simply unhinge it from the davit head and you're free. When returning, hinge the inflatable back on and the boat can be swung up out of the water for transport.

Supplied free with:

• 2 x quick release davit plates, valued at $168
• A full davit glue kit matched to your boat type (PVC or Hypalon), including cleaner/primer

Unlike basic davit kits, ours includes proper surface prep — skipping this step is the number one cause of pad failure.

NOTE — PVC boats: we also include a small tube of Hypalon glue, as the davit pads need to be primed with this first, before applying the PVC glue.

Kit Includes:

• 2 x Davit Heads, 316 stainless steel
• 2 x Pads and stainless steel yokes
• 2 x Quick removal plates and pins, stainless steel — the plates fix onto the platform and the davit heads slide in and lock with the pin. When not in use, remove the davit head and all that's left behind is the plate.
• 8 x 50mm stainless steel bolts, washers and nuts, for mounting (if your platform is thicker than these, you'll need to purchase your own)
• 4 x 20mm stainless steel bolts with nuts, for the yokes
• Glue kit matched to your boat type — please choose PVC or Hypalon 
  • Glue kit includes 250ml Polymarine 2-part adhesive with cleaner/primer
  • PVC option also includes a tube of Hypalon glue for priming the pads

For davits, we only recommend Polymarine 2-part adhesive — it's the strongest option available for this application.
